Newlands cricket ground

South African cricket is played at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. The Cape Cobras, who compete in the Sunfoil Series, Momentum 1 Day Cup, and RamSlam Pro20 tournaments, call it home.

Moreover, Test games, ODIs, and T20Is are played there. Being surrounded by Table Mountain and Devil's Peak, Newlands is recognised as one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the entire globe. It is next to the rugby union and football stadium Newlands Stadium. In 1888, the cricket field first opened. In order to create a new office-block development as part of the cricket stadium, it was revealed in March 2019 that the Western Province Cricket Association, the proprietors of Newlands Cricket Ground, had partnered with Sanlam.
